You never know what will happen when you hit the road so being prepared is extremely important! This day in age we like to rely on our cell phones and it most circumstances, calling AAA or a fried for help is an easy solution. But what if your phone was dead? AAA says it will be a few hours? All of your friends seem to be busy? You can never be too prepared so we have compiled a list of items that have proved to be helpful in those rare occasions.
Your emergency kit should include:
A first aid kit
A tire pressure gage
A roll of duct tape
A roll of paper towels
An adjustable wrench
An ice scraper
Two quarts of oil
One gallon of antifreeze
You may find other lists with additional items that you want to include in your emergency kit, but this is a good place to start. Some items that are not really necessary for your survival but for your sanity are; a deck of cards, foam ear plugs, a book, and a battery-powered fan (depending on the time of the year).
